The Archive Services, part of Culture & Information, at the University of Dundee are recruiting for a Project Archivist to work on the archive of the Brittle Bone Society.
This is a 12 month Wellcome Trust funded post to appraise, arrange, catalogue and preserve the archive of the Brittle Bone Society, a Dundee based national charity for people with Osteogenesis Imperfecta. The role will also involve liaising with the charity about current records, creating an oral history archive and developing an outreach programme.
Working with a project board comprised of academics and practitioners across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to work on an archive of medical, social and ethical importance. You will be part of a friendly, supportive Archive team but will be working on this archive on your own, under the guidance of the University archivist, so will be expected to lead many elements of the project.
The closing date for applications is 24 July 2021.
