APE Research Grant
The 2024 APE Research Grants are now open!
The deadline for the first research grant is the 17th March 2024, and for the second research grant is the 30th June 2024.
The grants are available to anyone doing research on a history project that is primarily based on archival research, and makes use of Archives Portal Europe as part of its research tasks. We support these projects financially and through working hours from APE.
Awardees will be asked to volunteer as APE Ambassadors while using the grants (read more about the APE Ambassador Scheme), for a total of about 3 hours per month.
Apart from the research grants, we also support research projects through help in archival research and support in liaising with archives. There is no deadline to apply for this kind of support, just get in touch via email at info@archivesportaleurope.net to discuss your ideas! You can read here some examples of projects that we have supported.
