Registration is now open for the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF) Annual Conference and Showcase, to be held in the Netherlands June 1–4, 2026. The event will be hosted by the IIIF Consortium with support from the Dutch Digital Heritage Network.
The IIIF Showcase (Amsterdam, 1st June) is free to attend and aimed at newcomers to IIIF and anyone with an interest in the subject; pre-registration is required as space is limited to 200 registrants. Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend an optional workshop following the Showcase to start working directly with IIIF materials.
The IIIF Annual Conference (Leiden, 2-3 June) and Workshops, Birds of a Feather & Tours (The Hague, June 4) are intended for a wide range of participants and interested parties, including digital image repository managers, content curators, software developers, scholars, and administrators at libraries, museums, cultural heritage institutions, software firms, and other organizations working with digital images and audio/visual materials. The full program, as well as selection for workshops and Birds of Feather sessions, will be available in March.
