We are very happy to announce that we are partner of the EU-funded project "Digiheritage: Fostering the Next Generation of Cultural Heritage Digital Managers through AI, Blockchain, and Innovative Pedagogies", which was awarded a grant under the EU Erasmus scheme.
DigiHeritage aims to modernise Europe’s cultural heritage sector by integrating advanced digital tools and innovative training to close critical skills gaps in AI-based cataloguing, blockchain provenance, and 3D scanning, enabling museums, archives, and cultural SMEs to better preserve and valorise heritage. The project is built on three pillars:
1.Developing a pioneering cross-sector curriculum for higher education and. VET with micro-credentials aligned to EU frameworks;
2.Building two flagship digital solutions: an AI-assisted collaborative platform for real-time data management, and a Heritage Chain tool for secure licensing and provenance;
3.Running a capacity-building program with train-the-trainer sessions, pilot projects, and international knowledge camps.
Together these pillars equip educators and professionals with state-of-the-art competencies, promote inclusivity by encouraging participation of women and underrepresented groups, and align with the European Skills Agenda.
