Paweł Pietrzyk PhD - historian and archivist, associated with Polish state archives for over 20 years. In 1996-2014 and 2016-2017 he worked at the State Archives in Łódź in which he also served as the department manager. He participated many times in the organization and elaboration of collections of Polish diaspora institutions, including in the US, UK and Australia. In the years 2014-2016 he was the director of the Department of Shaping the National Archives Resource at the Head Office of State Archives. At that time he also participated in the work of the European Archive Group (EAG) as a delegate of the General Director of Polish State Archives and was a member of the Council for the National Library Resource. From 2017, he worked at the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, first as deputy director of the Office of the Director General, then deputy director of the State Patronage Department.
