In particular, the Friends of The National Archives (FTNA) Research Fellowship Scheme is a very interesting research project to apply advanced digital methods to the First World War Unit War Diaries (WO 95). Working at The National Archives (TNA) in the Research and Academic Engagement Department’s digital research team under the supervision of our Research Software Engineer, the FTNA Research Fellow will use a variety of digital methods to analyse, interpret and re-present the data within these archival records.
This role would suit a researcher early in their postdoctoral career, or who has recently completed their doctorate. The TNA encourages in particular applications from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic candidates who are currently underrepresented. Application details here
