It is a part-time, two-year post, with the possibility of renewal for a further year (18 hours per week).Salary range £30,942 – 32,816 pro rata.
Christ’s College seeks to appoint an experienced, part-time archivist, to oversee the College Archives, to manage the preservation of catalogued material, and to classify hitherto uncatalogued documents in the College’s possession.The appointee will also play a leading role in the College’s Legacies of Enslavement Initiative. This involves close collaboration with both Fellows and students of the College, and will involve active supervision of up to four student internships over a two-week period during the summers of 2021/22.
A team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will have practical experience of delivering frontline services and will enjoy dealing with a wide range of library users both face-to-face and remotely.
The salary for the post is within the range of £30,942 - £32,816 per annum. Other benefits include 36 days annual leave (inclusive of public holidays), membership of a contributory pension scheme and free lunches when on duty.
