It is difficult to know how many languages are represented in APE: the language of the documents may differ from the language of the archival descriptions, and the language of the archival description (which is what you can currently use to search within APE) may differ from the official language(s) of the country where the archival institution is based.

However, at this link you can find a comprehensive, if not complete, list of languages that you can use to search in Archives Portal Europe, which we will update regularly as new material is ingested.
