Deadline: 30 September 2020 (workshop 12 January 2021)
The Cambridge Group for the History of Population and Social Structure has launched a call for papers for a workshop aimed at bringing together economic, social and cultural historians working on textiles, from the preparation of raw fibres and the production of yarn, through the weaving and marketing of finished cloth, to the production of clothing.
The workshop will take place within the University of Cambridge History Faculty in January 2021 and it is aimed at postgraduate students and early career researchers working on textile history, spanning all geographical areas and time periods. The primary aim is to bring together researchers working on different questions pertaining to this diverse field of scholarship.
