The Gazette du livre médiéval, in collaboration with the Institut de Recherche et d’Histoire des Textes (IRHT) organises a Meeting in honour of Denis Muzerelle (†2021), research assistant at the IRHT and founder of the review. The Meeting will take place on March 22, 2022. The participation of young researchers is highly encouraged. Reflexions on problems and methodologies in book history will be privileged, as well as studies on manuscript and incunabula populations and contributions on the materiality of the codex. Submissions must include a short resume (about 10 lines, in one of the languages that are habitually accepted by the Gazette), and must be sent before September 15, 2021, to redaction.gazlimed@gmail.com. Further details about the accommodation and the program will be given in September. For those who wish, and with the agreement of the Reading Board, contributions could be published in the review. Final texts have to be submitted to the editorial board before March 30, 2022, in order to be published in the issue 66/2022 of the Gazette du livre médiéval.
In the same spirit, under the aegis of the Gazette and in collaboration with the IRHT, a 2000 euros prize will be attributed to a contribution of high scientific value, published in the issue 66/2022 of the review, regardless of whether the author participated at the Meeting or not.
The Prize is reserved to authors who have not a permanent position in an academic or research institution.
