Ter aanvulling op het eenvoudig zoeken, biedt het Archieven Portaal Europa uitgebreide zoekmogelijkheden, toegespitst op bepaalde aspecten van archiefmateriaal zoals bijvoorbeeld ontstaansperiode, plus navigerend zoeken om door archiefmateriaal te bladeren.
